I’m writing to tell you about some updates to our online appraisal and 360 feedback software that will be released soon. Many of these updates have been prompted by you and other users of our tools, so please keep us informed of any niggles or ideas you have that could benefit you and others: very often we act quickly on your suggestions.

Mobile phone optimisation
We have now completely overhauled the experience you receive when browsing OMTonline on a small screen device, such as an iPhone. Give it a try! It's now much easier to review an appraisal or provide feedback on the go.





Managing appraisals
If you manage other staff, you'll be used to seeing a list of appraisals on your home screen. We've changed the design of this to make it more intuitive. The new system is much clearer and tells you at a glance how much feedback and self-assessment has been provided for the appraisal - so you know instantly if you need to chase someone up or if you're ready to go.

We've added many small but important features - such as the ability to hide reviewer names and comments when you print out an appraisal report - too many to list here. We hope you find them useful.

We are also considering new add-ons such as a mini-intranet for HR or management to use to communicate to staff each time they log in, and adding more staff data fields to enable you to use OMTonline in place of a full blown HR Information System.
